Dr. Kathryn Dundas

Dr. Dundas obtained her medical degree from the University of Calgary earning the distinction as the Nat Christie Scholar. She later earned her Masters Degree in Integrative Oncology from the University of Florida

Completing her residency in 1999, she went to rural Alberta. There she served as Chief of Emergency and practised rural family medicine. At this time, she began prescribing medical cannabis for chronic pain and oncology patients in her practise. She also completed training in Ayurvedic Medicine.

Moving to Calgary in 2004, she opened the first private medical clinic in Canada, Primary MD. Later, to expand on integrative medical resources for her patients she opened Sublime Wellness Spa in 2007 and is the CEO and Medical Director to this day.

In 2009, Dr. Dundas joined the Board of Directors of the International Spa Association and sat on the Global Health and Wellness Task Force which led to her speaking in different countries around the world and truly believing that health and wellness is a global endeavour.

With the legalization of cannabis in Canada, Dr. Dundas opened up her medical clinic for referrals from specialists such as family doctors, neurologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists and rheumatologists to assess the option of using medical cannabis for their patients. She is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta as a medical cannabis authorizer.
