Nattarika Chaiyadaecha (Bow)

She is a Thai-born who was granted a scholarship from the Royal Thai Government in 2006 and moved to study in Spain since she was 18 years old.

There, she obtained both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Political Science and earned various working experiences while studying. She was scouted to be simultaneous translator for meetings between Thai politicians and Spanish senators, Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) and Ombudsman of Spain, and between the Department of Water Resources of Thailand and Spanish National Radio Station (RNE), for National Spanish Radio and Television Channel (RTVE) program called Más Gente, and translator for a documentary report regarding Thailand for RTVE, among others.

She came back to Thailand in 2013 and started her diplomatic career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. While serving as Third Secretary at Latin America Division, Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, she was chosen to be simultaneous translator for the press conference between H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand, and H.E. Sebastián Piñera, President of Chile, for the bilateral meeting between H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra and H.E. Ollanta Humala, President of Peru, and between HRH Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand and H.E. Ollanta Humala. In 2016, she was promoted to Second Secretary and got posted as Consul in the Royal Thai Embassy in Mexico. In 2018, she was promoted to First Secretary and was simultaneous translator for meetings between H.E. Clin. Prof. Emeritus Dr. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, Minister of Public Health of Thailand and H.E. Roberto Morales Ojeda, Minister of Public Health of Cuba, and Mr. Rogelio Sierra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, and for a group of doctors, pharmacists, bioengineers, and experts in biopharmaceutical industry from Thailand during their meetings with doctors and health personnel of Cuba. In November 2019, she was called back to Thailand to serve as translator for Pope Francis during His Holiness’ visit to Thailand. She finished her posting in 2020 and is currently working once again at the Headquarters.

Since 2010, she has also worked part-time as language teacher and translator, and is now also with us as Business Development at Barkuna Cannabis.
